Dragonfly start

This week found me starting a new project.  I decided to do this cute dragonfly freebie for a co-worker.  She loves dragonflies and her favorite color is purple.  I think this is perfect for her and I can't wait to give it to her.  I'll probably just frame it for her.

Here's a picture of my beginning.  I'm sorry that it's not a very good picture. 

You can click on the link above to see a picture of the finished project and grab the pattern.  It really is beautiful on-line and I hope mine turns out as good as the one shown!  At first I was a little worried about the colors, but they are looking great together.  I still have a couple of colors to purchase.  Hopefully this weekend I'll have a chance to get them.

Quaker Hedgehog

This is a quick little cutie!  It's a freebie from The Workbasket.  It's a great pattern if you are like me without a lot of stitching time.  And he really is cute.

As you can see, I just stitched it up on a scrap piece of fabric.  I'll probably just pop this in a frame for a friend.  Sorry the picture isn't the best. 

Jolly Ornament

I don't have a lot of time to stitch.  Mostly during my lunch break and if I happen to be waiting somewhere.  Always a plus to have something to do!  I usually just keep a small project in my bag.

Here is the latest ornament that I finished.  This is from the Just Cross Stitch Christmas Ornaments magazine.  I'm not certain which year, but I believe it was from last year.  I don't have it with me at the moment.

I need to schedule a day to actually finish some projects into ornaments.  Maybe one day this summer.
